Morris Vickers

To what extent do you agree with this statement:

“How a believer invests the money God entrusts to them is a valid stewardship concern”?

Choice Number 1. I do not agree with the statement.

The primary purpose of investing is to make a profit. As long as the believer does not engage in wild speculation or gambling, they do not violate Biblical standards.

If this is your choice you are echoing the words of an investment advisor friend of mine. He believes that living a Christian life is important but does not see financial decisions as being connected to a spiritual relationship.

Choice Number 2. I agree with the statement but it cannot be implemented.

It is a good ideal goal but it is too difficult to adequately reach because of the multiple products and services offered by most companies.

I have very good news for you. The ability to analyze a business and quantify its earnings according to what products and services it provides is possible. Remarkable progress has been made in the past twenty years. We can help you learn more about today’s resources.

Choice Number 3. I agree with the statement.

I believe it is an important dimension to Christian living and want to learn more about how to live and teach it.

We have the resources you need to implement an actively managed account. We have identified financial management companies who provide investments that are consistent with conservative evangelical standards.

Through our “Faith Filled Investing” program we have the ability to create an investment portfolio, using mutual funds and other financial vehicles from multiple companies, in one account.  We select the investments best suited for current market conditions and periodically make changes as market conditions change.

I encourage you to contact me for information or an analysis of the investments you own in an IRA, retirement or other investment account. If you are the trustee of an endowment or foundation account (or know someone who is) I extend the same invitation.

Yours for: Fulfilling Christian Values Through Faith Filled Investing.

What is “Faith Filled” Investing?

Faith Filled Investing is a website of Financial Security Advisors, a very different registered investment management firm from many others you may have encountered.

My name is Morris Vickers. I've been involved in investing for more than 30 years. I'm also an ordained minister with 35 years of pastoral experience. The first church I pastored paid me $50 per week and $30 a month to invest for retirement.

I knew if I wanted a secure financial future, I would have to invest wisely and consistently… by 55, I was financially independent. This web site is designed to share my investment strategies with you and offer you the advantages of investment services that strive to invest in accordance with the teachings of Jesus.

But while I believe in the goodness of God, I also recognize that financial markets are creations of man, subject to all the inconsistencies and excesses of our kind. As a result, we utilize active management of client assets. That means we’re looking at your account and how protect and grow your assets every day. There’s nothing new about the concept. The very wealthy have always had access to active management. Our goal is to bring the benefits of active investment management to the NOT so wealthy as well as the wealthy.

I invite you to join Financial Security Advisors’ Faith Filled investment programs and let us help you build financial security. You will discover, as many investors have, that investing as a good steward and utilizing active management doesn’t mean higher costs, just better investing.

Sincerely,

Morris E. Vickers, D. Min.

“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful”
(1 Corinthians 4: 2 NKJV)

As good stewards we seek to use his financial resources to honor and worship him.

It begins with an acknowledgement that life comes from GOD and all we have in material possessions belongs to him.

We are administrators of what is his that he has entrusted to us.

As Christians, we honor GOD with the totality of our lives, including financial and investment considerations.

The criteria by which we determine the proper use of his material blessings are found in the Bible, specifically in the person and ministry of Jesus.

Jesus' vocation is “to save his people from their sins”. This vocation is expressed in his teaching and ministry. It is exemplified by his sacrificial commitment to justice, mercy, compassion and protection.

The full recipients of his ministry are all persons who acknowledge their need of him for deliverance from the consequence of their sin against GOD.

All persons who are delivered from sin, by acceptance of him as Lord, adopt his vocation as their own.
